Job Summary:
We are seeking a GIS Database Manager to oversee the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases. This role ensures the integrity, security, and performance of spatial data while supporting enterprise GIS applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database administration, GIS technologies, and data management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.

• Manage spatial and non-spatial data, including data modeling, integration, and migration.

• Optimize database performance and implement indexing and query optimization strategies.

• Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery planning for GIS databases.

• Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and stakeholders to support business objectives.

• Implement and enforce database policies, standards, and security measures.

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training on GIS database systems.

• Stay updated on emerging GIS and database management technologies.
