Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Information Systems Data Network Engineer 2 to manage, optimize, and secure our data network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. You’ll collaborate with IT teams to support network operations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to network improvement projects. This position is ideal for professionals with solid networking experience and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain data network systems (LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks).

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.

• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

• Support network upgrades, migrations, and integration of new technologies.

• Document network configurations, procedures, and protocols for internal use.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and improve network efficiency.

• Participate in on-call rotations for network incident response and support.
